It is not possible to keep aspect ratio when resizing the client on Windows
When the "Scale to window" option is enabled, the aspect ratio can be preserved by holding the Control key while resizing the window. This feature stops working when dragging the window title bar to leave the maximized mode. As a workaround the maximized state should be toggled by using the corresponding button in the title bar.
